Andrea has started potty training. She doesn’t like the small potty that you can buy at toy stores and baby stores so we just got her to sit on the toilet with the seater. She likes this more and so we started. She still goes on the diaper and then after she’s done, she’ll say she wants to go the washroom. Big improvement from not even wanting to sit on the toilet to letting me know she wants to go!
Josh and Andrea are both sick right now. I am slowly starting to get the morning sickness vibe going and so we’re just at home most of the time. Playing with our toys (reading books for me and toys for them).
Sometimes Josh will get really really bored and that’s when the iPad comes in handy.
Andrea has been loving the big trucks lately. I guess she’s finding her toys boring and her brother’s toys fascinating. Tomorrow is Friday!!!!! Hopefully, I can go somewhere with the kids tomorrow.
Morning sickness hasn’t been super bad compared to when I had Andrea. However, I do feel a bit nauseous in the morning and when I haven’t eaten for more than 3 hours. I have to have a cracker or bread every 3 hours. After a meal, I get really sleepy and in the afternoon it starts to get worse. It’s not too bad right now so I’m hoping I can start to take the kids somewhere tomorrow or on the weekend with Kaden.
We made it through Monday!! Yay!!! I thought that by now I would have started my morning sickness but I’m totally fine. I feel a bit uncomfortable in the stomach right after I wake up but other than that, I’m fine.
Josh and Andrea were pretty bored yesterday. We didn’t do much and they did get a chance to go out for a bit with Kaden last night but I guess that wasn’t enough. They’ve been wanting to go outside for a while now but I’ve been having some cramp-like lower abdominal pain since yesterday morning so I’m trying to take it easy.
Therefore, everything and anything to keep the kids busy is a must!
They had their Lego session, coloring session and then a full on window marker session this morning.
So…!!! It’s been just a couple of days since we found out we are having another child. What a great blessing. I always wanted to have three kids and God has blessed us with three!!!!
I haven’t started my morning sickness yet (fingers crossed that it won’t be as bad as the last two pregnancies) and I also hadn’t decided on which clinic to go to. But then I remembered when I had Andrea. I had searched and searched on google for a good doctor and I couldn’t find any reviews or doctors that attracted me (I don’t mean attracted me with looks or anything I was simply just reading reviews of doctors so don’t take it the wrong way).
Then I remembered going through a list of reviews on the Korean cafe community Mom’sHolic on Naver.com. I stumbled across one mother-to-be’s review about a female doctor that made sure she felt comfortable and relaxed through her full 9 months. She ended up giving birth in Korea due to personal reasons but she said that Dr Wendy had helped her feel great through her first pregnancy.
At that time Dr Wendy was at Ang Mo Kio’s AMK as Thomson Medical Women’s Clinic. I went to her for my first Ultra Sound and confirmation of pregnancy screening. I remember her being super down to earth, very calm and soft spoken. But very on the dot and good with explaining details I couldn’t remember of my first pregnancy. So I decided to go to her again!

I haven’t called to make my appointment yet but if you’re in Singapore and you’re looking for a maternity or women’s clinic I suggest you check her out!
Looks like the sadness of letting go of this beautiful city is going to be forgotten by this little one!
Bun #3 is in the oven! Thanks for all the support and prayers!!!
It’s teacher appreciation day tomorrow and KBK is having a celebration. However, we’re not able to make it to the celebration so Josh and I made two flower bouquets for this homeroom teachers.
We used carnations and a peach rose. In Korea, a carnation flower has the meaning of admiration. So, on teachers day and parents day children give carnations to teachers and parents.
Josh said he wanted to pick the flowers himself so we went and got these.
It was quite difficult making these with a 4-year-old. Holding the flowers in place and trying to tape them together was the most difficult part. But we did!!!
We’re so glad the teachers liked them.
We’re also thankful for great teachers like MDM Chow and MDM Yao!! Thank you!!!!
Sunday morning. The kids wanted to start the day with some painting on the balcony. The HAZE PSI level was a bit high on Friday and Saturday so I was a bit worried but it down quite a bit so they were able to paint.
Josh hates getting dirty or getting pain on him. On the other hand, Andrea, she doesn’t care.
After washing up, and after Kaden had finished some work at the office, we headed to Orchard Road for lunch. The kids fell asleep so we bought some sandwiches for the kids and headed to Botanical Gardens. It’s only 4 minutes away from out house but I don’t know why we don’t go there as much. Actually I do know why. Kaden doesn’t like it when its hot and humid and so we don’t go as much.
Josh hasn’t been feeling too well lately with his fever going up and down and coughing. We thought it was just a minor thing but I guess we were wrong. His face kept swelling up a bit after naps and dark circles were appearing so I tried to keep him inside the house and kept him away from hard physical activities. So on Wednesday, we took out all the trains and played together, indoors.
I cannot believe how many trains he has!!!
If you’re all feeling better from your fever! Then PLAY!
Today, our helper was going to come in at 10am to clean the house. She’s so amazing and nice. I wish she was staying longer but she’s leaving in October. Bummer~
Anyways, so for her to clean the house without the kids slipping, we left to go grocery shopping and to play at the playground.
We went to the playground first and then went grocery shopping.
So last time I did a quick video and post on what make up products I use for my MOMMY Make Up.
Some of you asked for a detailed video if possible so here it is!!
Ok, so the whole point in this “Korean style makeup” is to make your makeup look like it’s very natural and thin. By thin, I mean you should look like you barely have any foundation on. Notice there is no foundation in my list of makeup products? That’s why I mix BB cream and concealer before applying it on my face.
If you want more coverage, then apply a bit more of concealer on the areas that are needed.
Remember, the more silky smooth skin you have the better, the more even toned skin you have, the BEST!
