Yesterday while shopping with dad, the kids wanted to play at a playground. This whole “I want to play at the playground” ordeal started when we went into Paragon Shopping Centre. Josh now knows that there is a small play area in that particular shopping mall so every time we walk into it he says “and what about the playground?”.
So Kaden and I promised him that we would go to the playground today instead of the indoor play area yesterday. It was a really hot day but promises are made to keep right? We headed out around 9:45am and came home around 11:50am.
Today, Josh’s kindergarten had a National Day Celebration event at the school. We were to bring finger foods to the school to share so I made Pretzel covered chicken fingers that ”Giada at Home” made on the FoodNetwork.
I had to wake up super early to make this but it was well worth it. Everyone seemed to enjoy it!
Although waking up at 6am and making this was soooo tiring, it was good to see everyone enjoy what I cooked.
After getting the chicken fingers prepared and packed, I had to get ready and then get the kids ready.
Andrea was super excited that she was going to kindergarten too. She wanted to wear her backpack and go with Josh.
And because she was going too (with her backpack) she walked all the way there too, just like her OPPA.
When we got to the kindergarten, people were already seated and the kids were going to their classrooms to put their bags away. We got there a bit late so I had to take Josh straight to his classroom.
Our mornings are pretty busy. I wake up at 6:30am to pack Kaden’s lunch. The kids get up around then most of the time too. Today was no different than any other day. We all got up. Kaden went to work. The kids and I had breakfast. Then Josh went to kindergarten. Andrea and I came home. I cleaned the house (I can usually clean and do the laundry within half an hour). Andrea and I played with some crayons and drew pictures (more like doodles). Then we took a shower. I cleaned the blankets (with our Dyson) and sheets, then placed them back onto the mattresses.
Cleaned the living room playmat and ALL of the little bunny rabbits that we have.. I think we have about 5? 6?
Hydrogen Peroxide is usually used in the house to disinfect a cut or a wound. Most people have it in their first aid kits or in the medicine cabinet. However, did you know that you can use this clear magic water in different ways in the house. Here just a few!
- Whiten your whites more with hydrogen peroxide in your laundry. Put your white laundry in water. Especially the ones that have turned a bit yellow. Soak it with about 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide for half an hour, then run it through the washing machine for a really WHITE wash!
- Clean your refrigerator and oven! Spray hydrogen peroxide in your fridge or oven, leave for about 6-7 minutes and then wipe with a clean cloth to get rid of the food stains. Its also great to clean your counter tops with too!
- Clean your bathroom! Spray hydrogen peroxide on your tub or shower booth and leave for 25-30 minutes before scrubbing the tub and shower booth! Rinse with warm water for a cleaner and shinny finish!
- Whiten your nails. Soak your finger nails and toenails in hydrogen peroxide to naturally whiten them. Soak for about 15-20 minutes every night to get whiter nails! You can also whiten your teeth by mixing hydrogen peroxide with baking soda and using it every night as your tooth paste!
- Prevent Acne from getting worse or prevent it at all! Wipe your face with hydrogen peroxide every night after washing your face and before putting on your basic skin care line to prevent acne. It will make your skin calm down as well from being the sun!

OMGosh!!!! This is what our living room looked like after Josh got home from kindergarten.
Yeap…. Serious PLAYIN here dudes.
But after lunch (they didn’t eat much today) they both seemed to be really tired. Both their eyes were gloomy and Andrea was clingy. So I said to both of them ” JA JA!!!(자자!)” which means lets sleep!
Josh and Andrea didn’t want to have lunch today. They wanted to play. So they did. After a bit though, maybe about 20 minutes, they got hungry and had juice and some milk.
Today Josh brought back samples from PediaSure. I guess they were giving out samples to the kindergarten.
I love it when I get free samples but I also love it when my son drinks that whole bottle of PediaSure complete and asks for more. Hey, they got me on their client list now for sure!! One thing I like about this is that it’s gluten and lactose free. Not that Josh is lactose intolerant or anything but I just like to be safe.
It’s the last day of July already. Wow time flies. More than half of this year has gone by and it went really really fast. I thought this year would be pretty slow, since we didn’t do much and there weren’t any up and downs for us (knock on wood). However, now that I look back, it went by so fast. Tomorrow is the first day of August!!! AH!!!!
Today, Kaden had to go to work for a few hours. Thank God it’s only a 10 minute walk from our house. Although it’s Sunday and I want to have some time out, too… If he has to work, then he’s gotta work, right? oh well.
So I didn’t go out or do anything like the usual Sundays that we spend (not at home) but took the pool out and filled it up with water for the kids to play in and while they were having fun, I cleaned the house, did the laundry and made lunch for the kids.
Oh~ the quiet sounds of 4PM just makes me feel… so… CALM and RELAXED (for the first time today).
Yester, Kaden drove MR. KIM to the airport. He was one of the few people who came to help Kaden’s work from Korea’s head office. MR.KIM was like a miracle worker (according to Kaden). Anyways, I knew Kaden was driving him but I didn’t know what time so I asked Kaden to stop by the PARIS BAGUETTE at Changi Airport and buy some bread for the kids to eat the next morning and to bring me back some sliced cake, if they had any left. Usually they sell out REALLY fast so I didn’t expect him to bring much home but, oh did he bring SOME bread home. 파리바게뜨를 쓸어오심. Not only did he bring PB home. He also bought Burger King and Krispy Kreme. So this morning, it was like a party!!!
And thanks to Kaden, I was able to have a nice breakfast on my own. While the kids ate their bread and doughnuts, I sat at the table with an almond pastry and coffee.
After their breakfast (which they had at 7am BTW), they watched some Disney Junior and then played with their Duplo Legos.
Our day today was long… well for me at least. I don’t know about the kids but it was SUPER LONG for me.
After lunch, we came home from Great World City, and washed our hands, played some games, watched a bit of Larva and Pororo. Then played more with some trains and figures. Then when it hit 5 PM ish – The kids said they were hungry. So I made them dinner. They ate, finished it around 5:30PM. They said they wanted to watch Cooking Princess Loopy, so we did. Then they took showers at 6PM.
After their showers, they had a little dance time hahahaha
Then we played a bit more.
I asked her to say cheese~ but because she can’t do a V with her fingers she did this hahahahaha
They went to bed at 7PM!!!!!!!!
Our mornings usually start with breakfast, then some cereals (as chips not cereal with milk) and then when the alarm rings at 8am, Josh puts on his uniform and gets ready for kindergarten.
Then we head out the door. Today it was a bit different cause Andrea didn’t want to put on shoes and started having a tantrum. My patience was tested this morning….
As we head out the condo gate, Josh always stops to look at the flowers.
Proof that the kids are asleep. Their toothbrushes and toothpaste on the table. Meaning: they have brushed their teeth and are now sleeping.
The first thing that I usually do after the kids have FULLY fallen asleep is run down this hall (speed-walking) and take out the trash.
I literally bolt down the hallway and throw the trash down the chute (which is behind that exit sign).
Then I bolt down the hallway back and wash my hands, check if the kids are ok (like anything would happen during the 30 seconds that I’m gone) and then take my 물파스 (which I cannot live without these days) put some on my shoulders and lower back and then take out some wine and chips!!! Hahahahaha
The sun is out!!! Lets go out and play!!! 가 아니라 그냥 balcony 에서 물놀이 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
They were so happy the sun was out and they wanted to play on the balcony. Josh said “mommy the sun is so bright today! Lets play in the seahorse swimming pool!!” hahahahahaa
And cause the sun was out, mommy was able to put the laundry out in the sun too!!! I think it’s been more than a week since I put the laundry out on the balcony to dry in the sun!
Hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy this sun tomorrow too!
So I had some people ask me what camera I use to take the photos on this blog… Here it is!
I only have only have ONE camera body which is the Canon EOS 760D and ONE lens that is the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM.
I do wish I had some more gear so that I can take better pictures for the kids and for blogging but for now, I’m super happy with what I have.
If you wish to purchase cameras and lenses in Singapore, check out The Camera Garage.
Its where I got mine.
