Tiramishu Cake DIY

November 28, 2015

I love Tiramisu Cake. However, it’s hard to find the one that’s JUST RIGHT FOR ME.

So when I have time, I make my own. I don’t bake it or do anything special.

I go out and buy pound cake or sponge cake from a bakery.

Purchase a good pack of ripe strawberries, heavy cream, and light cream cheese.

Cocoa powder and an espresso also goes in the recipe, in case you were wondering.

I usually use this marble cake pack that they sell here at Singapore’s  BreadTalk.

I also used this pack of Korean Strawberries this time.

(You can always leave the strawberries out if you want).

And here are all the ingredients.

All you have to do is whip up the cream(about two cups full) with one tablespoon of sugar.

Whip the cream cheese (half a pack of the Philadelphia kind).

Fold the two ingredients together with a spoon.

Then in a container or deep dish, put the cake down then spoon some coffee on it so that it looks like a marble cake, put a layer of the cream, then a layer of strawberries, then some coco powder. Then repeat!

You can do this in which ever way you like and add more of the stuff you like.

This is what mind turned out like.

If you put a layer of coco powder at the end, there’s really nooooo neeeeed for decorations!

When you serve this, spoon out a chunk on a plate, add some fresh strawberries and ice-cream to finish it off!!!!

I had two plates…!
