Josh hasn’t been feeling too well lately with his fever going up and down and coughing. We thought it was just a minor thing but I guess we were wrong. His face kept swelling up a bit after naps and dark circles were appearing so I tried to keep him inside the house and kept him away from hard physical activities. So on Wednesday, we took out all the trains and played together, indoors.
I cannot believe how many trains he has!!!
Andrea didn’t want to play with trains (that was a first, cause she loooves to play with Josh’s trains) so she played with Lego Duplo.
When Josh plays with his Thomas and Friends trains, he likes to make up stories and pretend that the trains are alive. Just like how they are in the episodes.
Ah! We need a bigger house!!!
Later in the night around 8pm ish (I can’t really remember), Kaden wanted to go for a drive or just a quick stroll. He had some things on his mind and I guess some work issues that was driving him up the walls and wanted to go for a quick stroll to get things off his mind.
And where did we end up going?!?!?!?
Yeap. YISHUN. our old neighborhood.
It was undergoing a major renovation so we couldn’t go closer but this was good enough for me.
Looking up at the unit we used to live in.
This was where the playground used to be but it was gone. Sadly, but gone.
So we decided to walk and cross the street towards the MRT station to see the market that was taking place.
We also got to see the Fruit stand grandpas. They were still there, with their fresh fruit and still being nice!
This is the “market” that was taking place. Kind of reminds me of the Richmond Night Market back in Vancouver.
While going around, Josh felt hungry so we bought a Dragon Sausage(?) for him.
It tasted more like jerky than sausage but it was really really good. I thought it was good but Kaden didn’t really like it at all. LOL
Kaden got thirsty so he went over to get some Sugar Cane juice.
Can’t leave out Churros at the market! Seems like Churros are like the “big thing” here in Singapore. It’s everywhere!
Ah~ the old food court.
Still there. Selling the same food that was there 4 years ago!
The two monsters slowly getting tired.
And drinking up all of my Sugar Cane juice!!!
Andrea drank all of this and peed like a bucket full on the way home. When we all got home, everyone washed up and went to bed pretty quickly.
Then Josh got another fever during the night and couldn’t go to school (again) today. I think we’re going to take him to the doctors to see what’s wrong. Getting a fever this often can’t be a good sign.
