So the other day, I went to FairPrice and chicken wings were only around $2 per pack. Each pack containing about 6-7 wings. I was so amazed by this price that I grabbed 2 packs without even thinking. I didn’t know what to make with it (all I’ve made with chicken wings are fried chicken wings or honey garlic wings).
I went through my current favorite cooking show “집밥백선생” and found that he had done a dish with wings!
Super easy recipe. For 1kg of wings, 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/2 sugar and 1/2 of rice wine.
Pour the sauce in a pan, once it comes to a boil, add the wings. Then add whatever kind of veggies you want. I added left over mushrooms, carrots, onion, and some green onions. Once the sauce starts to kind of get gooey~ then put the heat on highest heat and stir fry like crazy until the sauce has become thick.
We ate this dish like we had starved for days (notice I don’t have any pictures of the finished, cooked dish). It was so good but next time I think I’m going to add a bit less soy sauce or more water. It was a bit on the salty side for me.
