Over the weekend we took a quick and very spur of the moment trip to SONG-DO Incheon. We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel and it was the best random trip ever. There was a huge park in front of the hotel for the kids to play at and there were lots of things we could do with them.
My little baby is not such a baby anymore… It may seem like he’s still a little baby but the way he acts and TALKS makes it feel like he’s just fully grown. The difference in the level of communication skills with a third child is totally different than the first two. The speed that he absorbs LANGUAGE and the way he expresses his thoughts is just purely amazing. It
Oh how I love taking my children’s pictures. It’s just so much fun!!! Canon Korea is doing an instagram event where if you hashtag your children’s photos with the camera model name and the lens that you used (obviously it has to be a Canon camera and Canon lens) they pick a picture and will give you prizes!! So I wanted to enter and post my kids up on instagram!!
Josh caught the type-B influenza last week. I honestly think he caught it playing at the playground on Thursday. He started showing signs of a fever on Friday and that’s when I knew he was gonna be REALLY sick. On Friday afternoon and during the evening his fever started rising and it literally went up to 39.5 degrees Celsius and I immediately knew we were going to make a trip
This past week was so crazy I can’t even organize my thoughts to explain what happened. It was Josh’s second week of school, it was the week with Andrea’s dental check-up and it was also the week my lectures at a community center in our neighborhood started. You can probably see why it was crazy, right? And then it was the week Andrea wanted to meet up with MinJoon and
It’s amazing to see how much Tyler has grown up. It’s amazing to see how he’s adjusted to our new home too. I still can’t believe all 7 of us used to live in a house half this size. Tyler is going through the “let me try”, “I want to do it” phase right now. He’s learned how to say it in Korean before English “내가!! 내가!!” is what he
In Korea, the new semester starts in March. Right now it’s spring break for most kids. Which means, they’ll be going into the next grade after this break. So for Josh, he’ll be going into grade one next Monday. We really haven’t prepared anything yet. I think we’re just more relaxed and trying to act like nothing really concerns us. Well, we’re all trying to act like it… Not sure
His last kindergarten morning picture. It really felt weird. I wanted to make sure I didn’t cry at the ceremony and I didn’t. Hahahahahah LOL So many people cried, including the teachers and it was a hard year I must admit, with all the craziness it really was a hard year. I can see why the teachers cried. The kindergarten is now becoming a fully private academy. Therefore, the teachers
This is just a typical day at the house with the kids. We try and have them get creative with arts and crafts but when they want to just sit, have a snack and watch TV we also let them do that too. We’re not bad parents cause we let them watch TV. We just sometimes want to let them go free and just be kids. Watch TV, eat junk
