This past week was so crazy I can’t even organize my thoughts to explain what happened. It was Josh’s second week of school, it was the week with Andrea’s dental check-up and it was also the week my lectures at a community center in our neighborhood started. You can probably see why it was crazy, right? And then it was the week Andrea wanted to meet up with MinJoon and
It’s amazing to see how much Tyler has grown up. It’s amazing to see how he’s adjusted to our new home too. I still can’t believe all 7 of us used to live in a house half this size. Tyler is going through the “let me try”, “I want to do it” phase right now. He’s learned how to say it in Korean before English “내가!! 내가!!” is what he
In Korea, the new semester starts in March. Right now it’s spring break for most kids. Which means, they’ll be going into the next grade after this break. So for Josh, he’ll be going into grade one next Monday. We really haven’t prepared anything yet. I think we’re just more relaxed and trying to act like nothing really concerns us. Well, we’re all trying to act like it… Not sure
His last kindergarten morning picture. It really felt weird. I wanted to make sure I didn’t cry at the ceremony and I didn’t. Hahahahahah LOL So many people cried, including the teachers and it was a hard year I must admit, with all the craziness it really was a hard year. I can see why the teachers cried. The kindergarten is now becoming a fully private academy. Therefore, the teachers
This is just a typical day at the house with the kids. We try and have them get creative with arts and crafts but when they want to just sit, have a snack and watch TV we also let them do that too. We’re not bad parents cause we let them watch TV. We just sometimes want to let them go free and just be kids. Watch TV, eat junk
This was right before Josh and Tyler went to bed.Andrea was already asleep.
It’s so hard to get a good family photo with the kids. We wanted to get a nice family photo for the Christmas cards that we were going to send out. What a big fail. We wanted everyone to look nice and have a big smile in the photo. But it seems like that’s not gonna happen.
All families have some kind of Christmas photo tradition. Whether it’s going to the mall to get pictures done with Santa Clause or getting pictures taken by the tree or fireplace. Every family has a Christmas picture tradition. Ours started just a little after Andrea was born back home (in Canada). Our close friends gave us the gift of a photo session at their house as our Christmas present and
First snow. Tyler’s first snow experience. First snow at the new apartment.
