Friends Forever

When you live abroad and all your friends are back at home (for me in Vancouver BC Canada) you go through many ups and downs that make you miss your friends. It’s times like this that help me get through life and it’s times like these that help me stand up again. As me, as Vicky Hong.

Kaden and I met up with Jamie and Keysuk yesterday. They are my friends from Vancouver. I’ve known them since I was in grade 11. I have known them for almost 19 years. They have seen everything and have been there for me through good times and bad. We have been through so much together that we’re more like family rather than friends.

Even if we meet up once a year or once in a couple of years, it still feels like we met up yesterday and had coffee together. That’s what it felt like yesterday. It felt like we had seen each other just the other day and met up for coffee, just because, maybe more like cause we had nothing to do.

Although I was sick and wasn’t in the best condition, I felt so comfortable and emotionally relaxed, it was amazing. It felt so nice after our meet up. I felt so relieved and even healed. I wish we could all live closer together so that we could do this more often.

I guess we should gather up our prayers and pray for that to happen since God is the only one who can arrange that for us. Right? hahahaha

I love you guys! Miss you already!
