When Korean people think of the word “hot dogs” they probably think of the Korean version of a hot dog that’s on a stick.
My kids love the American version or should I say the “original hot dog”.
They like the sausage in between a soft bun with mustard and ketchup over it. Sometimes they’ll ask for some cheese or a little bit of caramelized onion over it but most of the time, it’s just mustard and ketchup.
In Korea, it’s kind of hard to get the hot dog buns though. You have to really search for it. But sometimes if you go on Market Kurly, they have it. The sausage, I used the ones from No Brand.
