My Logo Font

It took me a really long time to come up with this logo.

I started a blog back in 2001 with the name

Even that logo changed so many times, it’s not even funny. I eventually landed at this one:

It all started with a small blog I made for school. It was a project for an elective course I had chosen to take for credits. Then it eventually evolved into something like an online diary. An online journal for myself. Then it changed to a portfolio site for my graduation at the Art Institute of Vancouver.

That logo also changed a lot.

Then later on it changed to what I have now.

This took a long time to design. I wanted something that wasn’t trendy.

I wanted something that could show who I was, and how I designed, but with sophisticated accents and design.

Then I came across the typeface Southfield on Creative Market.

It was then I knew what I wanted.

So I designed the center letters with Southfield and the side letters with Google Fonts RALEWAY.

It was a bit hard to arranged everything at first but then I started to play around with the different looks and styles and landed on this one.
