Nespresso. What else?

I love coffee. I’m sure a lot of people do.

I started drinking coffee when I was in college. I think it was first year of college that I started drinking coffee.

Basically I had no friends during my first year. I didn’t know anyone so I hung out at the Starbucks in front of the campus, alone, most of the time. That’s when I got hooked on coffee. I think.

I love lattes. I love milk. So coffee plus milk. Well, let’s just say nothing could be better than that combination put together. I also love sweet things too, so if you put all those three together and put it in front of me. I’ll drink it even if I’m full up to my neck.

I used to drink a variety of different coffee from around the world. I used to like the Korean mix (instant) coffee as well. But then I fell in love with Nespresso and I’ve been sticking to it since. I think it was in the year 2013 when we moved to Singapore that I started drinking Nespresso. We got the machine as a gift from one of Kaden’s friends (thank you Victor BTW) and ever since then, I’ve just been hooked. I’ll go and get some ground coffee beans from Starbucks on and off but most of the time it’s just the original Nespresso capsules.

I use the “Latisima Touch” machine that has the milk foaming thingy on the side. We’ve had it since we moved into this new place. We sold our old machines in Singapore and the one we brought back, we sold that one used as well. I wanted one with a milk foamer on the side so we got this one. It was on sale at the time so it was perfect.

My favorite way of drinking a homemade latte is:

– 2 Nespresso capsules brought down as a Lungo
– Half a cup of milk (steamed and foamed)
– 2 teaspoons of condensed milk

Yeap. That’s it! I’m having one right now!
